Another PA mouthful

As a basketball PA announcer, I enjoy watching for players' names that I think would be lots of fun or a problem to call out during a game. For example, former Oklahoma star Bak Bak would have been a big problem. (How would you say it without sounding like a duck or a sheep.) This week I saw the name of Samford's presumptive leading scorer for the upcoming season, Demetrius Denzel-Dyson. You could do some interesting things with the call, but it would take a while to do it. Eight syllables is a lot for a name.
