I grew up listening to Cardinal baseball on KMOX when Harry Caray and Jack Buck were the announcers. When I first encountered a movie listing in the cast an actor named Harry Carey, I couldn't believe my eyes. Harry just did not seem like the actor type. Well, needless to say it wasn't the broadcaster, but an actor whose name was pronounced the same, but spelled slightly differently. He made a ton of cowboy movies, and is said to have been one of the earliest superstars of silent movies. But, as far as I know, he had no connection to baseball. In fact, at the top of his spot in Wikipedia, there is a note: "Not to be confused with Harry Caray."
