Real fans

You will find a certain number of true college basketball fans even in Maine - fans who follow the sport all year round. (Not many, but a few.) The percentage increases as you move south down the eastern coast, then decreases again as you move west across the South, then increases as you move north into the Midwest. But there are certain sections of the country where the percentage of the population who are real fans is greatest - and the South is not one of them.
